about

For the second percussion based piece, I was fortunate enough to record in a room with multiple sized gongs. So I used that to my advantage. The album is so hectic with so much going on, I wanted a quieter song as a sort of break. My most peaceful times is waking up in the morning and reading with coffee. The sunlight comes through my living room and at that time of morning is pointing exactly where I am sitting. For me there is no greater calm and feeling of contentment. So I tried to make a soundtrack to that.
