Cacophonous Revival is proud to present our sixth album, Circle the debut solo album from Pennsylvania native K. Hamilton Nagle. Nagle comprises one third of darkwave/goth band We Chose Forever and also is also active in Graveblankets an experimental, avant garde trio. Circle represents an autobiography of 18 months in the composer’s life. Circle is an intricate examination of the self. It is a vulnerable homage to grief, anxiety, depression and self loathing but with a unifying core of hope. Multi Instrumentalist Nagle effortlessly wrangles Circle through a dizzying array of genres, touching on experimental rock, noise, musique concrete, avant garde and industrial using all manner of instrumentation to exert emotional expression. The album uses disparate elements such as timpani, tape loops, clarinet, harsh noise, field recordings, idiophones and marimbas to create a unique and very experimental sound world. The album was mastered by Billy Pizzaro and contains photography from world renowned photographer Philomena Famulok.
